Describe treatment approach used: My overall treatment approach includes the following components:
-Applications of the principles of motor learning applicable to the learning of new motor plans for speech production
--The focus of the treatment is to improve movement gestures in syllables/words.
-Dynamic Temporal Tactile Cueing
-Multi-sensory approach (including visual, proprioceptive and tactile cues)
-Gestures and Manual Mimicry
-Careful Selection of Treatment Targets, Individualized for each child

Describe parent/caregiver involvement: Parents are involved in therapy in the following ways:
-Parents are asked to observe their child's therapy sessions
-Parents are taught are to model words and give feedback
-Parents are given target words to practice at home

Describe your past and current involvement in the Apraxia community​?​ I participated in the Apraxia Intensive Training Institute (Boot Camp). I also teach other providers (ABA teams, OT's) about CAS and network with other SLPs specialists in CAS. I keep up to date on continuing education in Apraxia.
