- Twice Exceptional Speech, Language & Educational Therapy
As a speech-language pathologist in private practice since 2007, I am committed to providing research-based therapy services that are individualized for each client based upon their strengths and challenges identified through the process of dynamic assessment. Intervention for CAS utilizes a variety of motor-learning approaches including: DTTC, ReST, PROMPT, and ultrasound biofeedback therapy. Moreover, I am a language-based learning disability specialist, so the therapy services provided at Twice Exceptional are comprehensive and meet the variety of speech and language needs that are often associated with this disorder.
I am relatively new to the CAS community. I started my journey to become a CAS specialist in 2015, and I attended the Apraxia Kids Intensive Training Institute (Boot Camp) in 2018. Twice Exceptional sponsored and participated in the 2019 Apraxia Walk in Denver. We currently offer presentations at our office about CAS for parents, teachers, SLPs, and other professionals. We also offer a monthly support group for parents of children with CAS.
