2025 Apraxia Awareness Day Proclamations

A proclamation is a public or official announcement recognizing an initiative, event, milestone, observance, or to raise awareness about specific causes or issues.  Typically, they are signed by federal officials, governors, state legislators, mayors, or other local government officials and are only valid for the date and year of which they are issued.

Annually, Apraxia Kids works with volunteers to file proclamations recognizing May 14th as Apraxia Awareness Day in their communities.  We encourage individuals to sign up on our proclamation webpage so we can offer templates, support through the process, and feedback if their government officials have questions or request more information.  We also keep record of those who file in hopes to be able to make community connections and to avoid duplicate requests since only one proclamation is often issued.

Thank you to all those who tried to file a proclamation in 2025.  Although someone may file, it does not guarantee a proclamation will be issued.  Each and every effort is truly appreciated!
