14 Dec Strategies to Elicit Imitation in the Treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech
Course Abstract:
Successful speech services rely heavily upon the child’s imitation of speech sounds/movements. So what do you do when a child is not yet imitating speech? This presentation focuses on evidence-based strategies to increase communication skills in children not yet imitating speech sounds. This presentation will also address developmental norms for imitation and prerequisite skills to speech imitation.
