Overall Treatment Approach:

CAS therapy is very individualized. Targets are carefully selected based on assessments/functionality for each child. A small number of targets are selected and extensive practice is done with each target, including a hierarchy of prompting beginning with direct imitation.

Parent Involvement:

Parents can help to choose target words/vowel combinations that are functional for their child. Parents will be made aware of the targets that are practiced in therapy in order to promote generalization into the home environment.
