I highly recommend that the child’s caregiver attend sessions as much as possible to learn techniques and follow a home exercise program. The home program should be followed daily for carryover of targets practiced during the therapy session. A high frequency of targeted practice is vital for improvement of speech production. I enjoy a close relationship with my clients and families which is built on trust and mutual respect. It is also important for parents to feel they can ask questions and be a part of the therapy planning process
