National Conference Speaker Acceptance Agreement
We are pleased that you will be a part of the 2026 Apraxia Kids National Conference! Below is your speaker agreement.

Please read all sections and sign at the bottom to agree to the following requirements and expectations by March 1, 2026:

  • Presenters will be required to register for the conference by April 15, 2026 using their individualized speaker code which will be sent once this agreement is signed. Only one Primary Speaker for each session will receive a waived registration. All other co-presenters will receive 50% off their registration fee. Registration will include admission to both days of the Conference, including continental breakfast and lunch on both days of the Conference, and the Keynote Opening Address & Reception.
  • Speakers are responsible for their own travel and hotel stay.  Apraxia Kids has a block of rooms at the conference hotel reserved for speakers at a rate of $199 per night. Please contact the hotel directly to book your hotel no later than March 31st as space will be limited.
  • As a speaker, you agree to present at the assigned time and chosen format (in-person, hybrid, virtual only). Your assigned time for in-person sessions will be provided in email after this agreement is signed.
  • Apraxia Kids will arrange for a microphone, podium, screen, and LCD projector for all workshop sessions. You will need to bring your own laptop. If you are using a Mac computer, please bring an adapter cord to plug into the projector.
  • Apraxia Kids does not pay speaker honoraria.
  • Apraxia Kids reserves the right to edit workshop titles, abstracts, and learning objectives for brevity, clarity, and consistency.
  • Permission is granted to Apraxia Kids and the Apraxia Kids Website to use and distribute (including but not limited to use in newsletters, appeals, web pages, and publications) at their discretion, any photographs or video taken at the 2026 National Conference or related events in which you or a minor member of your family may be a part.
  • Apraxia Kids’ policy is that our Conference Program must provide fair, full disclosure and balance to all aspects of a topic being presented.  Presentations should not include promotional influence, endorsement, commercialism, and/or selling of any products/services.  If therapeutic options are not validated by peer reviewed research, this fact should be acknowledged in the presentation.  Additional options for promotion of products or services are available as a sponsor or exhibitor during the entire Conference.  Please contact us for more information.
  • Presenter agrees to obtain and maintain signed authorizations granting permission to the presenter for use of each audio/video recording used in their presentation, including authorizations from any individuals appearing in videos or other media. Apraxia Kids may request copies of such signed authorizations.
  • Presenter agrees to submit their handouts to Apraxia Kids by June 15, 2026
  • If you are pre-recording your session, additional information will be shared. The deadline for recordings will be June 15, 2026.
