As we approach the holiday season, many of my family members, friends, and colleagues ask how they can contribute to organizations with a mission that they find important and valuable. Making a financial gift to a charity of your choice can be especially rewarding during this time of year.
Apraxia Kids, like many other groups, remains committed to our community during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This unique moment has created unanticipated challenges for many of us personally and professionally. Consequently, it has stretched our organization’s ability to support children who have been affected by childhood apraxia of speech and their families.
We rely entirely on donations from individuals and the local community. We are not government funded and each donation we receive, regardless of size, allows us to continue to help lead the global apraxia community. Your financial support of Apraxia Kids will allow us to provide valuable resources now and once this crisis is over. Fundraising to support this mission is critical, especially during these challenging times.
