Apraxia Awareness Month 2025 – Connect with your the apraxia community

We all need support and friends and there are so many ways to make friends within our community and invite your friends to learn more about an apraxia diagnosis.

Facebook Support Groups: We have over 65 online support groups with over 81,000 members that are free to join! Ask questions and get answers from others on the apraxia journey or even SLPs that are in our groups! We love sharing your highs and lows and are always here to support our Apraxia Kids community.

Virtual Live Support Groups: Want to connect with parents and caregivers live? Join our monthly zoom call! This is a great way to make friends and share experiences with other community members. We also invite your tween and teens to join our Star Chats hosted by Elina Csapo, a young adult with CAS. This is an exciting opportunity for your Apraxia Star to meet other friends with CAS. Elina chooses weekly topics that are fun and engaging to start the conversation but you never know where they conversation will go!

Have a play date with an Apraxia Star: Once you connect with your local Facebook group, find a new local friend and invite them to celebrate Apraxia Awareness Month with you by hosting a playdate! This is a great opportunity for your child to socialize with a new friend!

Find Hope, Give Hope: Share your story with us! They say when you hear about one apraxia journey, you’ve heard ONE apraxia journey. Everyone’s story and journey looks different. Share yours to add to the conversation and read others to be inspired!

Parent Portal: Do you know someone who is just starting out on their apraxia journey or wanting to learn more about apraxia of speech? Share our FREE Parent Portal! Answers to those important first questions as well as detailed information and resources about assessment and treatment of CAS are found on this page!
