Summer might be coming to a close and we are so excited to see our Apraxia Stars shine bright this school year!

Everyone’s educational journey is unique so we have gathered a list of a few tools that can help you and your child as you navigate the new school year together and help them shine their brightest.

Library Be the Voice Kit: Consider donating this kit to your child’s school library to help others learn about apraxia of speech. Classroom Be the Voice Kit: Support a child with CAS by helping their peers and professionals at school understand apraxia. Walk for Apraxia: A great way to raise awareness for CAS is to invite your child’s class to participate in the 2026 Walk for Apraxia! Sharing the Walk for Apraxia with your community allows more people to understand CAS and the incredible amount of effort that our Apraxia Stars put in each and every day. Online Support Group: Another great resource is other parents! Join one of our Facebook Support groups to ask any question you might have while navigating back to school season! Not only do we have an Official Support group with over 34,000 members,  we also have numerous state groups where you may find a family in your area experiencing a similar journey. Star Supporters Live Support Group: This group is for adults 18+ who support Apraxia Stars and adults living with CAS. Join us for open conversations to make friends, get ideas, ask questions and learn how to best support the Apraxia Star in your life. Peer-to-Peer Support Group for Tweens and Teens: We recently partnered with Elina Csapo from Young Able Voices to create a zoom support group for tweens/teens ages 12+! This is a great way for Apraxia Stars to connect with each other and make new friends that are on the same journey! Sign up your teens/tweens today!

Dynamic Star Duos: We are launching a brand new support group for children 12 and younger and their parents. This safe space is intended to give children a place to hang out with other kids with apraxia, talk, play games, or just listen. Parents attend to help their child feel comfortable.
