Overall Treatment Approach:

My sessions alongside a child with CAS are individualized, intensive, and motivating for each child. I use therapy targets appropriate for each child while offering cueing that works best for them, including gestures, AAC, signs, and modeling.

Parent Involvement:

I invite parents to be actively involved in their child's services through parent coaching, discussions, and home practice. I am with your child for a short time during the week, so a caregiver's involvement is so valuable for progress!

AAC Use/Implementation Expertise:

I introduce AAC early in the therapy process. I have experience with high tech speech devices including LAMP, TD Snap, TouchChat, as well as sign language and picture exchange systems. My process for choosing an AAC system is personalized and unique to each child.
