CommuniKids provides engaging speech therapy from the comfort of your own home! We work closely with kids who have CAS and their families to provide fun and structured sessions, using DTTC and multisensory cues to help your child communicate.
We love when families want to get involved and observe our sessions. It is so important to create a supportive team for each child. Parents are directly involved in helping to choose target words and creating a supportive environment for their child to learn and make progress.
We use low-tech AAC to help children gain functional communication skills more rapidly as we continue to target the movement patterns associated with the child's diagnosis of CAS. We use real pictures of family members, favorite objects, favorite foods, and favorite shows to create low-tech AAC boards for establishing communication skills.
