Overall Treatment Approach:
My practice is based on the motor learning principals using Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing. My goal is for 150 productions in a thirty-minute session several times a week. Every five sessions I begin with data collection using the current targets to track progress over time and inform my decisions to modify targets. I feel like phonemic placement work is critical, and always have the children look at my mouth while we produce targets through the following hierarchy: error-simultaneously-direct imitation-delayed imitation-spontaneous. Once phonemic targets are accurate at the syllable level, I move to motor planning and programming aspects using the Speech MAPP (Dolgin)

Parent Involvement:
One of my professional goals is to involve parents more. Many of the students on my caseload are English Language Learners (ELL). I have been working towards fluency in Spanish and I am better able to communicate with families from Spanish-speaking homes. I have shared articles and information and encourged families to utilize the Apraxia Kids website. Families are always welcome to join our sessions.

Community Involvement:
It was my honor to attend the first Apraxia Kids CAS Bootcamp in 2011. I have presented at two of Apraxia Kids National Conferences. I did a webinar for Apraxia Kids as well. I do consulting work with SLPs in the Boston Public School and have presented a series of professional development workshops on CAS. I have participated in Apraxia Kids Walks for Apraxia and had the honor of being a speaker at one
