Overall Treatment Approach:
   Multisensory approach incorporating the principles of motor learning, integral stimulation. Treatment is provided within highly motivating play routines with maximal target speech production trials/opportunities. Eclectic approach to match the child and what he/she responds best to.

Parent Involvement:
   Parents are invited to participate in each session, if this is the best arrangement for the child. Therapist models effective approaches, teaches caregivers how to implement outside of the treatment room, parents work with children in the session demonstrating their understanding of what the therapist has shown them to help elicit speech/language/targets with their child.

Community Involvement:
   Walk coordinator in WNY for 5 years, SUNY Buffalo guest lecturer to present on motor speech disorders, Apraxia Kids presentations, local speech/language association presentations, parent support group (Oregon), CAS Therapy Intensive Programming in Oregon.
