Overall Treatment Approach:
I utilize early, intensive intervention with combined use of AAC if necessary or supportive while using DTTC and establishing a functional and highly personal vocbulary.

Parent Involvement:
Parents are directly involved in planning treatment with me by identifying favorites, needs inventories and words that are difficult or frustrating as well as by reviewing sound inventories. I individualize therapy and practice for each family based on each family and child's background.
Community Involvement:
I currently network with and support multiple families who are active within the galactosemia and apraxia communities. I follow and support ongoing updates via the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and access research resources available through special interest groups.
