Overall Treatment Approach:
Begin with a few target words, then gradually add on. Use multi-sensory cueing. I have found visual and tactile cues to be very helpful, i.e. SLP and child putting their finger on their lips for /m/. Simultaneous imitation is very helpful also. "I say it, we say it, you say it" is usually the pattern of prompting I use. Give specific home practice, and encourage parents to celebrate small successes.

Percent of CAS cases: 5

Parent Involvement:
Give specific written and verbal directions for structured practice at home. Encourage daily practice, even if it's for 5 minutes. Encourage parents to celebrate every small success.

Community Involvement:
I have not been involved in the Apraxia community yet.
