ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dave Hammer, M.A., CCC-SLP has 35 years of clinical experience in pediatric speech disorders and is the Director of Professional Development and Speech Services for the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America (CASANA). He is known as an international expert on apraxia in children. David has presented over 150 workshops on childhood apraxia and speech sound disorders throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia. He was a member of the ASHA AdHoc committee on childhood apraxia of speech that created the ASHA Position Statement and Technical Paper on Childhood Apraxia of Speech. In his current position with CASANA, Dave provides specialized in-depth assessments and treatment plan consultation for children who have apraxia or are suspected to have apraxia.
