I understand that, if selected for the 2020 Boot Camp training on Childhood Apraxia of Speech, I will be expected to: (1) Read roughly 200 pages of reading material. (2) Stay in a university dorm room throughout the training, and eat meals with fellow attendees and faculty. (3) Willingly participate in small and large group discussion and interaction. (4) Submit a case study within 6 months of completion of the training, which will be reviewed and scored by a faculty mentor. If determined that I have achieved competency in the course, I agree to serve as a local/regional/national resource and information source on childhood apraxia of speech.
Furthermore, I understand if I am accepted into the program, I must pay a nonrefundable $250 deposit by April 30, 2020 or forfeit my position. I understand that I must submit full payment (an additional $700 by June 15, 2020) or forfeit my position in the program. I understand that I will not receive a refund unless Apraxia Kids can place another candidate in my position for the training- or if, at the time of the training event, I can substantiate a death in my immediate family or a personal medical crisis.
I understand that to maintain my recognition as a Boot Camp graduate, I must meet the ongoing requirements established by Apraxia Kids.
