2006 ASHA Convention in Miami (Booth 1342)!
For the 7th year, Apraxia-KIDS traveled to the Annual Convention of the American Speech Language Hearing Association in order to distribute information for professionals and increase awareness about Childhood Apraxia of Speech. This year's ASHA Convention was held in Miami, Florida from November 16 - 20, 2006.
The Apraxia-KIDS booth in the Exhibit Hall featured information pamphlets, handouts, resource lists and products related to Childhood Apraxia of Speech including the new "Treatment Strategies for Childhood Apraxia of Speech" DVD. Thank you to the hundreds of SLPs who stopped by to ask questions, browse, and discuss CAS with us. We value that time with you!
Additionally, CASANA held its annual reception for its professional advisory board and other professionals who have demonstrated interest and commitment to children with apraxia of speech. This is always such a great time to network and catch up on the latest in all aspects of apraxia of speech in children. Thank you to all who stopped by to visit and talk.
