    Sue Caspari is nationally recognized as a leading practitioner in the area of Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).     David Hammer is an internationally recognized expert in the assessment and treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech. With over 30 years of experience, he provides specialized differential diagnostic evaluation services through the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America (CASANA) Speech Center for children with suspected Childhood Apraxia of Speech as well as difficult and complex cases involving children with apraxia. Highly detailed evaluation reports include recommendations for therapy programming and specific treatment goals. Parents are provided with support in therapy considerations and program decision- making. One or two-day assessments are offered. The second day of the two-day evaluations includes a video sample of techniques found to be effective in eliciting speech sounds, sound sequences, and expanded verbalizations for the child. The video is sent home with parents for parental, therapist, and related professional viewing. Follow-up phone & email consultation and re-evaluations are provided as needed.
