Thank you for supporting Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association.
Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
Our "Little Miracle" blessed our home the day he was born.
As parents we promised our baby, we would do everything within our power to pave the way for him to succeed.
The spring of 2010 our son was diagnosed with Speech Apraxia, a neurological disorder that affects the brain’s ability to send the proper signals to move the muscles involved in speech.
We had no idea what this was, how children get it, what treatment is available or if a “cure” was out there.
After much research, we found no “cure”.
Speech therapy is the only hope our son has.
He is a bright 3 year old little man; he just cannot communicate clearly.
He is receiving speech therapy 3 days a week, we have converted his bedroom to a world of words, we have learned sign language to communicate successfully with our son but we need your help.
Families like ours are doing all we can to keep the promises we made to our little miracles.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about the challenges our children with Speech Apraxia face and donating to help find a solution.
Every Child Deserves a Voice.
