Thank you for supporting Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.

My son Joey has been diagnosed with CAS. The Apraxia Kids website has been very helpful to me in learning about my son's disorder, and providing helpful resources. My son understands the language spoken to him, he has a difficult time producing the sounds needed to create words. It is so frusterating for him, imagine having words in your head that you want to say, but cant produce the proper sounds to voice your wants, needs, ideas or thoughts!

All children have a voice, it's up to us to help them find it. These children want to express themselves and their families want to support them in doing so.

Often times the insurance companies make it difficult for these children to receive the help they truely need and deserve. Most of these children are recommended to visit Speech Therapy 3-5 times a week.

Your donotion will make a difference. Please visit the apraxia kids website for more information.

Thank you,

Meagan Cunningham
