Michael Gavin Wight was four-years-old when he was in a near fatal car accident that took the life of his young grandmother, and severely injured his then six-year-old sister. Michael and his sister have traumatic brain injuries. The official diagnosis for Michael "Bubs" is diffuse axonal injury with shearing, and does not usually have a good prognosis. It was due to this injury that Bubs developed apraxia. He has limited speech, but with new therapies and treatments, we believe that he WILL regain his speech some day! With YOUR help, you can make all the difference in Bubs' life and in the lives of other children with Apraxia!!! PLEASE HELP!
