Join me in my efforts to support Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America (CASANA)!

The Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association needs our help! Join with us, please, and help create better futures for children with speech apraxia.

Our son Logan is a bright, happy 6 year old that was diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech in June 2006. Our family has watched Logan struggle with trying to talk all of his little life. It has been both frustrating and heartbreaking to watch him, knowing he knew exactly what he wanted to say and not being able to say it. Logan has come a long way but still has a long road ahead of him.

This Web Page is important to our family for two reasons. The first reason is to raise awareness about Apraxia. When Logan was first diagnosed our friends and family would ask, "Apraxia, what's that?" In order to get the funding and research that is needed to find the cause and best treatment for Apraxia, people need to know what it is! That brings me to reason number two - to raise funds to further the research that finds a cause of Apraxia so the best treatment can be found, and hopefully one day a cure.
