2016 National Conference

Who should attend the National Conference on Childhood Apraxia of Speech?

The Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association (CASANA) invites families, professionals, and community members to attend “The 2016 National Conference on Childhood Apraxia of Speech.” This conference is our opportunity to consider the importance of each and every child. This conference will consider each child with CAS and not just their speech skills, but also their overall language, educational and developmental needs. There will be sessions to fit the learning needs of each individual who wishes to attend; speech language pathologists, educators, parents, new learners or those who have already been on this journey for some time. We have gathered national experts from all over the Country and we invite you to join us! CASANA’s annual conference features national experts who will discuss all aspects of this speech disorder, including

  • Differential Diagnosis
  • Treatment Methods
  • Building Resilience in Children with CAS
  • Academic Success
  • IEP Issues and Strategies
  • Co-Occurring Issues and CAS
  • Strategies for Slow Progress
