The iPads for Apraxia program is now open for 2015 and beginning to take applications! Since its inception, nearly 300 children with apraxia of speech from across the United States and Canada have received iPads and protective cases in order to further their ability to practice speech at home and communicate everywhere. Wonderful partners have joined us since the beginning, such as the Silent Stars Foundation and The Brad J. Pinkowitz Memorial Fund, and donations from the Walk for Apraxia® To learn more about how iPads and their apps can help children with apraxia, click here.
There are several submissions dates for applications throughout the year. (next deadline is OCTOBER 1, 2015) Please read the application packet to gain further information including “frequently asked questions” and instructions for submitting applications.
